In Sottomarina’s tourist setting, we are proud to be able to define ourselves as a real hotel for those suffering from coeliac disease. From 2010, and made aware by the presence in our family of someone suffering from coeliac disease, we approached and embraced the initiative to participate in this project, which soon proved itself to be appreciated by many guests.
Indeed, the possibility to distance themselves from home, without having to bring with them a suitcase just for food supplies, and without having to continuously explain their eating habits, has made us understand the importance of joining the project. With strength and encouragement from the approval received from our customers, we have increasingly specialised in this kind of diet, up to the point of offering the same kind of service and choice of traditional dishes, without having to make sacrifices on the menus offered.
Only the preparation methods are different and the exclusive use of gluten-free raw materials. We only use raw materials that are naturally without gluten and foods allowed by the A.I.C. (Italian Coeliac Association) handbook.
For years, we have been dedicating our professionalism to make sure that each of our coeliac guests can enjoy good food, safely and without having to feel “different”, for a holiday full of intense and enveloping flavours.
