By car
From Austria (Innsbruck): From the Brennero A22 highway to Verona, take the A4 highway to Venice/Mestre and take State Road SS 309 Romea towards Ravenna, exiting at Chioggia.
From Austria (Villach): Take the A23 highway to Palmanova and then the A4 highway to Venice/Mestre and take State Road SS 309 Romea towards Ravenna, exiting at Chioggia.
From Milan: Take highway A4 to the Padova Est exit. From here, take SS 516 Piovese to SS 309 Romea heading towards Ravenna and exit at Chioggia.
From Bologna: Take highway A13 to Ferrara Sud and follow the Ferrara/Lidi Ferraresi expressway to SS 309 Romea heading towards Venice and exit at Chioggia.
From the South: Take highway A14 to Ravenna and follow SS 309 Romea towards Venice, exiting at Chioggia.
By train
From Padua. From the Padua train station, take the SITA bus to Chioggia which departs every 30 minutes until 8 PM. Get off at the last stop in Sottomarina (Piazzale Europa). The Hotel Le Tegnùe is just a five minute walk away.
From Venice: From the Santa Lucia train station, walk to Piazzale Roma where an ACTV bus departs every 30 minutes for Sottomarina, stopping close to the hotel.
From Rovigo: few trains run between Rovigo and Chioggia. We suggest you take a taxi (55 km).
By plane
The Venice “Marco Polo” international airport is 50 km away. Take the ACTV bus: line 5 (orange) to Piazzale Roma. From here, take the blue bus to Chioggia which departs every 30 minutes (a 45-minute ride). Alternatively, you can take a cab.
The Treviso 'Canova' airport is 70 km away. Some companies provide Eurobus service from the Treviso airport to Venice (Piazzale Roma). Once in Venice, take the ACTV bus (blue) to Chioggia which departs every 30 minutes (a 45-minute ride).
Riva del Lusenzo
Leaving Sottomarina heading towards Chioggia, you'll be floored by the triumphant colors and vegetation typical of the Luzenzo Lagoon landscape. Modern bicycle and pedestrian paths will guide you through an enchanting and relaxing nature tour, even great for jogging!
